Auditions for Troupe de Tour
Ages 12-Adult
Members of the group will be trained to perform in the commedia dell arte style. This style was developed in 15th century Italy. It is what brought slapstick and improvisation to live theater. This group has been developed to perform at fairs, festivals, nursing homes, libraries, and the like. At this time we are scheduled at the Tangipahoa Parish Fair, The Strawberry Jam'N Toast Festival and various other locations throughout the year. Please contact the director if you are interested in auditioning.
Must be 12 or older, or have special permission from the director, to audition for the Troupe de Tour.
Please prepare a one minute monologue.
(prepare=memorize/internalize)
